Lauryl Sulfate and her Ladies of Leisure are an electropop duo from Milwaukee, WI. made up of members Lauryl Sulfate and Mark Zbikowski. Known for their high energy performances and empowering lyrics, the LOL’s live shows deliver a dance party with a mission.
The band is a Milwaukee indie radio staple and have been a featured act at Summerfest, Milwaukee PrideFest and Riverwest FemFest.
The LOL’s first album, “Dance Music Saves Lives” was a glittery, hopeful love letter to the political possibilities of disco. Their newest album, The Afterparty, sparkles with the same knack for sticky retro hooks and irrepressible beats while offering up a more existential spin on the power of dance music. It is available for listening or download on all major streaming services, including Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.
